Day One
Please plan on spending about 30-45 minutes with us. You can arrive a few minutes early to fill out your paperwork. Bring your insurance card and credit card if you would like us to direct bill.
You’ll meet with your chiropractor for a consultation. Then, your examination will consist of range of motion and neurological testing, a back scan and X-rays, if required. We’ll discuss the appropriate plan of care with you. When you go home for the day, you’ll have a folder that contains your scans, care plan and goals, amongst other important information.
What’s Involved in a Back Scan?
This pain-free, objective measure shows areas of nerve interference and abnormal function in your spine via surface electromyography. We retake your scans regularly to measure your results and adapt your care as needed.
Your Regular Visits
When you have subsequent appointments, they’ll take 5-15 minutes. The frequency of your visits will decrease as you get better and duration of appointments is dependent on individual health goals. Some patients seek pain relief, others want to restore their function, and many choose to have continuing care to live an enriched, vibrant life.
